What did you work on today?

Doesn't have to be car related.... just tell us what you worked on today! A smart mans learns from his own mistakes, a wise man learns from the mistakes of others

Re: What did you work on today?

Installed a second 7500 BTU heater in the shop, tired of being cold while working on schtuff. Strange how as a fella get's long in the tooth that the cold creeps into your bones.

Re: What did you work on today?

Spent the day taking everything out of the 5 car garage, cleaned it out, and put all the stuff back in. I'm amazed how much dirt and bugs and stuff accumulates in there. I do that about twice a year. But it's done! Friday I finished cleaning up and reorganizing my shop. Saturday, I hauled two loads of water and fixed my lift and did an oil change on Bonnie's Tahoe. Got a lot done on my three day weekend.

Grade 8 ain't cheap...........it's strong. I use grade 8 a lot. Anytime it involves grading safety, I opt for grade 8

Re: What did you work on today?

well ! today I worked in the garage trying to at least get some of it cleaned, then I worked out back in what I call my hardware store again getting things back where they belong, I have collected so many bolts, nuts etc. that I hardly have to go buy them but it's a lot of work, I will be continue to work on getting it all done before it gets hot again.

have a great day
Henry.

Re: What did you work on today?

Did a little searching on this today, it turns out by the serial number, built july 18, 1911, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, model 66 singer, cost thru Sears robuck was $ 38.00 ....I guess the cost was probably huge at the time, average wages were $550.00 a year.

Hung my flags in the garage and ran speaker wires. Gotta have tunes in the garage!
