Smile Custom SPID Labels

If anyone is need of a new glove box option sheet I can create one for you that will look exactly like your original with the correct font. These are done on permanent adhesive labels and are the same thickness as the originals and include the clear plastic cover. I have over 400 original labels as well as other GM material that I use for reference, so I can come up with just about any factory option that was available for 67-72 Chevy or GMC trucks. A base label with 8 RPO codes is $25 and extra options are added at $3 each. Through July, any member of this board will receive an additional $10 off the final price of a custom label, (limit, 1 per customer)
You can get more info at outintheshop.com

Thanks
Jeff

Re: Custom SPID Labels

There is a free version someone developed in Excel on another forum, one that most of us just lurk in for free LOL just to get info but you have to know the codes.

Re: Custom SPID Labels

The excel version, as well as the ones done with a typewriter look totally fake. I have sold many to guys on the other sites who want one that looks exactly like original. Why go through the trouble of doing a nice restoration and putting something on the glovebox that looks like a 12 year old did it?
The freebies are fine if you don't care what it looks like, to each his own. If you are into detail and want the best possible reproduction on your restoration project, I can supply what no one else can.

Yes, I will extend it only to the end of August, send me a PM or email when you are ready to put a list together.

Thanks

Re: Custom SPID Labels

Jeff,
I am toying with the idea of painting the truck two-tone but the SPID label would be incorect. I you can generate one that looks as good as you say it does that would be great. the white accent color that I would use is PPG #521 along with the original color of turquoise #511. I am not sure how the two tone code was denoted on the label, but you probably do. Let me know how much it would cost for all of these options.

Re: Custom SPID Labels

Hi Mike,
It would be a pleasure to put that label together for you, that truck has a lot of options! I have sold many of these labels and have yet to have one person that was not completely satisfied and impressed with how it looks.

Total shipped on that label with the correct paint code would be $65 ($10 off until the end of August). I need to double check but I am pretty sure the correct paint code is 536.

If you are really interested I can put a rough draft together for you and send you a digital picture via email.

Jeff

Re: Custom SPID Labels

Jeff,
That would be helpful to see the end result. I am not sure if the code is different for the various two tones available but I am probably going to paint like the attached photo. which if I am not mistaken is just like yours, so whatever your code is then that's what I need.
