Marvin, If you do that then you're wrecking it for the rest of it.

I don't know John personally, but, He's never been rude the time he's been on the board. Dry Humor possibly?

Nothing negative meant in any way whatsoever... I simply meant whenever I've used these clear door showers, like in a hotel, I have felt like I was in a display case. That's the reason for the sunglasses :-)

We're good Marvin, no worries. I truly enjoy learning from others, be it old trucks, home repairs or whatever..

Please keep sharing.. it's all good.

Re: What did you work on today?

I spent part of the day helping a fella over on The Garage Journal. He's trying to reconfigure his existing garage so he can use a 2 post lift.

His cinder block garage has a very low pitch roof. I made a couple CAD drawings so he could share them with his contractor.

The first rendering replaces the entire roof with higher pitch scissor trusses.

The second uses new free span trusses in the center, and maintains the remainder of the low pitch hip roof design.

No harm no foul John. When you posted your comment the Sun Glass Emoji was what triggered it for me.

Re: What did you work on today?

I was hearing a noise on the ol' '65 C10... would change tempo based on speed... and I only heard it at lower speeds.

The last time it was the bottom bolt on the rear shock mount... the nut had backed off.

I checked out all of the shock mount bolts, all was good.

Then I checked each wheel, both front wheels lug nuts were loose... !? But the back wheels were nice and tight... and then I found one of the rear lug nuts was stripped out so to the parts store I went.

I checked every single lug nut on each wheel, snugged 'em down good and then I took it for a spin at low speed through some neighboorhoods... the sound went away.

Do you still have hubcaps on your truck? I'd be wondering if somebody was messing with the vehicle if it were mine.

Then again I always use a manual cross style lug wrench (never an impact wrench), torque them in 3rds and then check them again.
