Very nice Impala! Give us the stats, and more pics. I love those old Sleds.

Re: 65 Chevrolet

I'm from south central Virginia. Almost 60 yrs ago I bought a new 65 Impala SS 4-speed when I was a senior in high school. Later sold it but wished I hadn't. About 10 yrs ago was talking to a friend, who owned a body shop, about wanting to find one and he said, "I've got one at my shop." We went to look at it and it was all original with the Muncie 4-speed in it, but needed restoring. He let me have it for $2,000.00. I started taking it apart and then hooked up with a shop that went by the name of Heavy Metal. They have built show winners. They built a Smoky and Bandit Trans Am that took first place at the national Trans Am show.

All the sheet metal, bumpers, interior aluminum and stainless trim, inner fender wells and console are original. All the exterior stainless around all the windows are original. Put all new wiring harness with a re-built 396. All new interior. Has original Danube Blue on the exterior.
