Howdy Folks

I'm been a member for just a little while. I enjoy reading the banter and seeing all the pics. The one question I posted was answered thoroughly and made me realize things I would have never thought about.

Here's a few pics of ole Betsy. Plain Jane stock, Assembled and lived in or around Atlanta her whole life. I bought her three months ago and she was in need of some TLC. Supposedly, 80k original miles. The little 250 straight six still purrs but she needs a complete over-haul top to bottom. Slapping a rebuilt carb on her next weekend. Present one is 10 yrs old and is starting to leak.

Original Windshield is a mess, will probably swap that out soon too.

Plan to replace the master cylinder with a dual res and go to front disk brakes but that's going to be a lost weekend for sure!

Looking forward to interacting with everyone! See you around the forum.

Re: Howdy Folks

That's an awesome truck. If you need info on upgrading the brakes and stuff on a 60-66, Jack is the master......he goes by oldblue66 or something like that. He just took his patina'd 66 over to Silver City, New Mexico this weekend for the shake down cruise.........and made it with no problems........ask him for info next week..........he'll do it by part number for ya if you want.

Re: Howdy Folks

Love your survivor truck! Doesn't look like it's factory pieces parts have been messed with... and that's a good thing.

Thanks for posting the photos and looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.

And Bill, we need to get Jack to put together that list of parts. That would be fantastic.
