I've been looking at the Bare Bones cams myself, hell of a deal. Edelbrock dosn't make their own cam, they rebox and sell someone elses cams. Like summit and Jegs do for their "store" brands. Again, what is this engine going into?
I haven,t been around any roller cams in about 15 years or so . I didnt know that the hyd rollers cams where cast . Thx bud

Re: sbc 400

Not all are cast. The thing is some are. If you can afford billit, thats the way to go. All the Bare Bones cams are cast. Thats why they are about $100 cheaper than the others. Check out the Lunati VooDoo or Crowler has a good selection, and their catalogue is great. It tells the difference in preformance from a tiny small block to a big 400 like yours with the same camshaft.. When you call, make sure youre getting billit. It sometimes costs extra.
