military reunion

I spent almost a week in California at my 45 year Vietnam combat flight reunion, Had a great time but, the pinnacle of the time was we went in Helicopter rides. What made me so Blessed was, The Helicopter was a Vietnam vet Helicopter. Our pilot was a Vietnam Vet from our unit. And I had hooked back up with one of my Favorite Pilots while in Country. OK, Now to top it off, (yes, There's more!) I got to ride in the helicopter behind the m-60 in it's turret where I spent many Combat hours. And by my side was My Wife of 47 years along with my Pilot. This wasn't a helicopter ride 100 ft in the air, It was on the ground below adjacent tree tops flying Combat type maneuvers Flying up a river at about 20 ft above the water. What a Fantastic rush it still is.... I really screwed up though, I didn't even think to take a video clip while doing this. So sorry guys.

I can't really begin how to explain how I felt and still do. just amazed I guess.

There's over 700 pictures that were taken. If I find anymore good ones that y'all may be interested in I'll post them when I get them. We had an onboard Photographer.. Pretty cool.

Being caught up in the moment isn't screwing up Ron! You were there, you lived it, and that is ok! Thanks again for your service and the pics. You post all you want, we will look!
