Rear lights don't work

I have a 69 c10. Front lights and turn signals work but no power getting to the rear lights at all. Any ideas?

Re: Rear lights don't work

Tailights work on their own electrical lead. Check your fuses. If that's ok start with an electrical probe and work down the wire starting at the fusebox when the electricity stops you've got a point of interest.
Good Luck

Re: Rear lights don't work

When I had a similar problem with lights, every time I plugged in my trailer, it turned out the ground wire on my trailer was broken.

Re: Rear lights don't work

With that condition I would replace the complete wiring. But, If you have the knowledge to do this, Cut the wire that comes out of the fuse box follow it down towards the taillights until you find solid good wire then replace the piece from the good part running back to the wire from the fuse box.

When you do the above, be sure to leave a couple of inches of the taillight wire so you have something to connect back to. You really need to do all those burnt wires showing the bare wire.

I hope this helps and you can get it done.
