Re: post a picture of your truck

You guys make me feel lazy. How many years have I said I need to get that 454 in my truck, to replace the worn out 402? It's still sitting on a stand in my shop. I'll get to it, right after I finish with the kid's wagon, finish wiring my 56, and.........and........
Beautiful trucks, guys!

NO PHOTO AVAILABLE

Not sure if it gets any better... wonder when GM will make a "retro" new version of these classic haulers?

Once I get my new barn / shop done... a '67-72 restoration (more stock than not) is a must. Maybe a '72 with a '67 doghouse?[/QUOTE]

Those are some great looking trucks that have been posted lately!

How have you been John? Why not just build a '67 or '68 rather than turning a '72 into a '67 or '68? Sounds a bit simpler to me---LOL! You know what I have for junkers though!

Heading for Arvada tomorrow in the wife's new 10 year old GMC but I posted a couple pics of it in a thread Bill started.

Update your shop thread sometime.

All is well here Doug.

My Dad had an orange and white '72, bought it brand new. But I like the doghouse on the '67's.

I'll update the barn thread..

Re: post a picture of your truck

Here's my 68 C10 LWB, SBC/700R4. Its a work in progress like all of them are. All this one is going to have done to it is the inside of the Cab clean & new upholstery then the underneath completely brand new as much as I can and then I'll call it quits until some thing brakes "and it will" LOL. I can't wait to start on the front end steering & suspension & work my way back to the rear end section with all the parts I have been gathering up for a while now, but I"ll have to wait a while cauz tooo dammm colddd here been in the low 30's to mid 40's. I am retired now so no hurry.
