We busted our butts on the truck but came in under the wire to drive it up to Reno and Hot August nights.. Damit.. But Friday we're going to go up and spend the day looking things over...

If I wouldn't have started the body work we would have made it So no one else to blame but myself
 And we've been on the lake a whole lot. Cody's into Boarding so you have to take care of your employees also.. LOL

We've been being sure it's all tight and that we didn't forget anything plus rechecking everything we've done. Now we've been sanding the body down to bare metal and removing any old bondo. We are working out all of the metal better than the old work that was done, 2 to 2-1/2" of bondo in some places. I'm laying a coat of Kitty hair and then a skim of filler on that..
I've lost a lot of my touch so it's fill and sand To find I overworked the filler, so It's fill and sand, But nowhere has more than an 1/8th of an inch.. It wouldn't have been a job at all but I decided I didn't want the side marker lights and I also welded the tailgate shut.. I ordered a rear rollpan from Brothers and am waiting for it to arrive.I frenced in the tailights but still contemplating the Caddy tailights.. Not sure.

We're frenching in the tailights and adding a rollpan. I bought the one with license plate cutout but I don't like the way the cutout is. Going to fill it in and put the plate on the left hand side of the lower tailgate.
Here's a couple of pictures of where we're at in the install.. Here's the tailight It's going to be anothe 1/4" or so deeper.
