The deal is done.

Loaded my '65 onto a semi this morning, headed for Long Beach California, then onto a ship for the long journey to the land of the Kiwi bird.

Have fun my friend, you are in for quite the adventure!

And The Journey Continues - New Zealand Or Bust

New owner sent me a photo the shipper sent him. Here's the ole orange crate, sitting in a freight warehouse in Los Angeles.

Those fluorescent lights don't do the orange paint justice...

Any further updates on it arriving safely? I have no idea how long the trip takes.

No but we signed a contract on a home up in the mountains... and... wait for it... the attached garage is 23' x 25' and it has a 14' high ceiling.

They didn't even mention it in the listing! And the realtor said some folks passed on it because of the ceiling height?

So we're getting our home and my shop ready to sell and I am designing a 30' x 45' detatched garage to store the cars and shop tools.

Plan is to put my Rotary 2 post in the attached garage, and use a ridge beam and attic truss set-up in the detached garage so I can use my 4 post lift for storage and as a means to lift items into the attic.

If you fellas are interested I'm going to start a garage build thread. The wife and I plan to build as much of the building as possible, and get help for setting trusses, installing the roofing, etc.

Should be quite the adventure.
