Center CrossMember at Support Bearing ??'s

I have a 68 C10 LWB Fleetside Truck that I want to Lower 4"s (coil springs) in the rear but I am wondering if I have a One piece Alum. Driveshaft made will the lowering effect the center cross member hole where the shaft passes through being the new drive shaft will now be 4" instead of the original 3" shaft by coming too close to the cross member sides, will it need to be cut more bigger for the new larger 4" Driveshaft? Any help or "Link" suggestions will be appreciated very much. Thanks, Marvin
