Wheel choice advice please.

I have a 1967 c10. I have the six bolt axels and drum brakes. It currently has some 24"s that I hate. Looking for some nice looking classic wheels. Here is an example of what I would like:

https://www.summitracing.com/parts/v...3gm0/overview/

I would just order that wheel set, but one of the reviews says that it did not fit a 67 c10 with drums.

I'm open to other designs. I'm thinking 17 x 8 or so (flexible). I would like something that more or less fills the wheel wells without, of course, rubbing.

Does anyone here have a 67 c10 with drums? Maybe tell me what wheels worked for you and help me find something.

The truck will be factory height in the front and lowered 2" to make it level in the back.

Thumbs up Re: Wheel choice advice please.

Welcome to the board Dave!!
I am sure someone can point you in the right direction real soon. Those are some sweet looking wheels. **You have to measure your back spacing.**
**And your inner wheel diameter.**And wheel width.** to get the wheel dialed in that will fit. I my self would seek out a stock wheel to measure from? as long as it was not a split rim like my 69 c20 3/4 ton yea!! lol
Just some words from a Old Timer & the Big Guy.

P.S. Any thing is possiable if you want it bad enough. :-)

Re: Wheel choice advice please.

Thank you Ragenrat.

I'm good on wheel size and backspacing.

My problem is the hub mounting up. It seem that the diameter of the hub has caused others trouble in the past.

Re: Wheel choice advice please.

I like those, Lake.

Is that 4 wheel drum? Would they be the same as my 67 drums?

If so, what wheel is it, as in who makes it, and where could I get it?

thanx

Re: Wheel choice advice please.

On my 62 I went with the Chevy rally wheels. No problems but not real fancy either.

Re: Wheel choice advice please.

Thank you old. I'm worried that the wheels that fit a 62 may not fit a 67. Any idea?

Re: Wheel choice advice please.

Did it have disk or drum? I'm hearing that the drums are the problem.

It had drums. K 10s are 4X4s I have never herd of this problem before. Is it just 1 guy who had a problem or are there more than 1 person telling you about this? Is it the large hole in the center of the wheel you are concerned about?
