well I just tore it down and had the frame blasted and painted so I am trying aground up restore.Although like most everyone money is tight so this project will take awhile.

Needed something to motivate me to not come home after work and plop in the recliner.

This seems to be a great site for our hobby

I can't wait to get it all back togetther. It is still warm here if I can get 2 nice warm days to put it all together that would be nice then I can play with the interior over the winter. Some new ones. And one of the only pictures of me that exists, maybe the second not sure, I didn't know I was in the pic...he said I wasn't. Only reason I did this to the box was for one the floor has been drilled out to be able to bolt it and the body shop did not paint the box inside like they were supposed to, so I took money off and made this mess. By the way these are the pics the appraiser used, the radio one is one of the aluminum inserts that guy was selling man I forget his name but its hard to see the hd receiver screwed in there and a sat receiver is under and the amp is between the seats on the floor for now , will be mounted to the box I am gonna put there.
Now would you leave the grille black or paint it grey and put he black around the chrome by the headlights. Now purists need not answer I am looking for how it looks. At first I didn't like it til I put the new OEM Bowtie on it I got for 30 bucks...best deal yet. If wondering the hoist in back is to get my wheel chair in and out of there, I have a controller in the cab. Works good. Only vehicle out of 4 we have here I can get into and go somewhere by myself.
Oh by these pics and knowing it has a stock motor as far as hp,350/350 posi but not original...Sure Trax and since these are the insurance pics that the appraiser took tell me how much you think it's valued at?

My next project is going to be a ratrod, something I don't have to worry if I ding it or whatever. Throw whatever parts I can get free or real cheap. I found a nice big block 396 with 400 trans for sale for 300 running and does it run nice. It is mine but not till spring he needs it till then , in a 4x4 73 to 80 chev never asked. He needs it to get back and forth to school that is it. He promised no more than 5000 kms It has 22000 since a sick rebuild. I am wondering how I am gonna get enough vacumn for the brakes this has a lumpy cam and supposed to me 490 hp. Funny my Ram has that and well the old chevy feels faster maybe cuz its noisy. I get the whole truck so I might start there cut it into a convertible, then a hottub in the back, and tunes out the ying yang. Body is solid just needs rockers and corners. Floor is done last year, not understanding how the rockers and corners didn't get replaced but who cares whole truck 300. Hey I can stay in here, maybe gonna have to get with Royo on some baggin info. That is the only think I will spend anytype money on is the suspension I want it to drop tothe ground so I can get in easy.
