Very nice. You don't see a lot of wooden beds in 72. My original bed looks like barn wood now. Someday I'll put in new wood but for now it's like yours, a bit of a rat rod.

Being an electrician, I'd like to see the wiring diagram. We usually put a disconnect switch close enough to cut ALL power in an emergency.

My suggestion would be to message the manufacturer and ask them if this is an issue. Maybe they have resolved the problem or have a solution or... maybe there was no problem and they can tell you...

On my 62 I went with the Chevy rally wheels. No problems but not real fancy either.

When I pulled the head there was oil pooled on top of the piston. I had hoped it was the heads so I swapped them out. Ended up selling it a short time later.

I also have that book as well as the big block book. A LOT of info. I used a set of the 416 heads on a 67 K-10 I had with a 350. Didn't notice any power loss due to the smaller valves but didn't...

Dropping it 2 or so inches shouldn't be a problem. Try to keep your trans and rear parallel to each other. You probably have a 3 piece driveline. Your axle will twist a bit under acceleration but...
