That is indeed just a ground wire Woog.

My grandfather had a '72 C20. I added ground wires, circa early 1980's, just like that from the battery ground to the head light and tail light housings....

FWIW.......

Seems like that would work much better if the license plate bracket flipped up... not down.

Then you could cut out the entire bumper behind the license plate.. making installing...

SikaFlex Self Leveling Sealant

Getting tired of shop vacuuming the control joints after every woodworking project so I bought some Sika Flex Self Leveling Sealant at Home Depot.

Tips:

1) Fill the joint partially with sand...

The switch kills both 120V legs that are powering the 240 V device.
