OK, I did remember the camera, and I did remember to take a few pictures. Check out Henry's 64 1 ton Chevy pickup that he works out of.........

Well, I screwed that up some..........but you can get the idea. That's the 454 I bought from Henry, being loaded into my Longhorn the day after Thanksgiving. In the other post, you can see better how his truck is set up to do any kind of mechanical work "in the field". Quite the rig. Henry had a lead on a 3:73 geared dually rear to replace his 4:10, but the new one had 4:10's also.
I met Henry on the Tri-Five website. He has a beautiful 57 Chevrolet 2 door sedan.
I'll invite him to come on over soon, but he's having hip surgery Tomorrow.

Very cool. So what's Henry's trade? Jack of all trades or does he specialize in ?

Actually, Henry told me he used to wire squad cars for a living. Got tired of "workin' for the man" and now just works on classic cars. He's mobile, throughout the Phoenix valley. Come to think of it, it's only 140 miles from Henry's front door to mine..........hmmm.

Did you notice that his engine hoist is installed in the receiver hitch?

Thats a cool rig. I think the hitch in the receiver is a great idea.

I sure wouild have loved to of had a rig like that..............say 45 years ago. I would still love to have one now, I just couldn't use it my self. But talk about a meet and greet ride!!

Henry's got lots of stuff in there........He replenished my zip tie supply, and, because he knew I bought a wiring kit for my 56, he gave me a HUGE selection of wire connectors. The panels under the flatbed slide forward and back, exposing all kinds of shelves with stuff..........I get to get him on here to " 'splain hisself".
I should just tell him to come down to Tucson for his recovery.......he'd probably have my 56 running and the engine swap in my truck done in a day or two.........

That's awesome.. I like the Hitch mounted picker. It just so happens I have a bed mount picker but It didn't come with the underneath mounting plate.. I think this is a "To do"

But, I wonder about the sides of the bed? Clearing them may be a problem.

I have two sets of extensions to raise it so it will clear the side rails of a pick up bed. That's awesome.. I like the Hitch mounted picker. It just so happens I have a bed mount picker but It didn't come with the underneath mounting plate.. I think this is a "To do"
