My current build....62 panel(1ton) long wheel base chevy.I have installed a 76 front suspension and rear from a 3/4 ton its all rolling now.I left it 8lug because I have a newer 2004 ish aluminum rims for 3/4 ton and the 76 part are about 2" wider then the 62 track width but the new rims tuck in 2"ish inches so that brought the track width to the factory 62 measurements!I'm going to run a 350 TBI and 700r4 in it.I know that's a low power choice but its a dead simple reliable system that's perfect for cruising! As sOon as I get so$e better pics I well post them.

Hello, So how does the body look any cancer to deal with, what kind of interior are you going with? Looking forward to some pics on your project.

Very cool, cant wait to see pics! I don't feel there is any problem with just building a mild mannered cruiser, 6 popper, or a fire breather. It's all for the purpose and budget of the owner!

As for rust the doors and front fenders are bad.Above the rear wheels needs a patch.I found a 60 1/2 ton with a good clip and doors.I m wanting the shop truck look with it so om not to picky on the body. For alberta it rust free lol!

Nope gonna loose the side windows someone cut into it.It has a 133"wheel base same frame as the 1 ton and later year longhorns.I found it in a wreckin yard no rear end or springs had the front suspension under it.I am not sure on how many were made but only one I have seen as well.Rear barn doors on it are excellent. For the interior I have a 96 yukon full leather ride that's going into it.It has to haul the kids
